Downtown Kansas City Pool and Rooftop Couple Shoot

Traveled to Kansas City this summer and shot this couple session in a pool. Such an amazing couple to work with and definitely one of my favorite sessions that I have shot in a while.

I have really been working on balancing editorial vibes with my work that is technically not editorial. I think that this shoot is one that I will look back at as a guidepost to how exactly that effort can play out in an authentic and intimate way.

I have done sessions in rivers and lakes where I am dangling my camera gear over water, but never in a pool. Definitely almost tripped and dunked my entire setup in the deep end of the pool once.
