Colorful Detailed Wedding at the Clinton Library in Little Rock Arkansas

The Clinton Library in Little Rock, Arkansas - such an amazing space to have a wedding. We have been walking around the grounds of this library for years taking photos, but this was our first time shooting a wedding there. The area outside of the Clinton Library has a very modern look, but just walking around back there are so many beautiful areas and open spaces for portraits (and in this case a ceremony). The reception space there is so modern and open with so much natural light. Basically a photographers dream.

Colorful Details

Color came back in 2023, and we hope that it sticks around for 2024. I know that whites and neutrals are such a safe space and a lot of people will always go for that minimalism (as a lover of minimalism, hard to blame anyone for that). It’s also such a nice change of pace to see some couples blow up pops of color. The color in Helen and Clayton’s floral ceremony piece was one of our favorites of the year.

Embracing and Making time for Memories

I think one of the things I valued the most about this wedding day was Helen’s focus on making sure that she was creating time and space to enjoy the day. At one point as we were approaching the end of Helen and Clayton’s first look, she wanted to transition from portraits to going upstairs and making time for a toast with close friends. It’s so important to realize that you are having your wedding day, and prioritizing the things that are important to you.
