Color Blocking Studio Session | Macy and Mike

These creative styled shoots in the studio have always been a way for me to experiment and try out things that I normally wouldn’t (or haven’t). Layering up some elements of color and color blocking in a shoot like this is definitely something that falls into that category. I have never been against colorful shoots, but have definitely found myself shooting with more neutrals throughout my photography career.

Working with a couple in the studio is always such a different environment, but these two were absolutely incredible to work with. These more creative shoots can sometime be just a little more restricted than outdoor sessions can be. Maybe a bit more direction or input that I am honestly doing a little less of with my more typical documentary approach, but I LOVE this session so much.
