The Details

I approach my work in photography with a mindset rooted in human connection and feeling. I establish trust with my clients, and create an environment that they feel comfortable being themselves in. I balance this documentary approach with also being able to provide direction and guidance for my couples and their people.

How I work

Authenticity.

My goal is to document how it felt, not how it looked. I prefer guidance over posing. This allows your connection to each other to come out.

No Script.

There is no script. I won’t stage things or ask you to pretend. I will give you direction when it is needed, but will also back off and give you space and time for moments to play out.

Storytelling.

One of my biggest goals in my work is to approach a wedding day and document it fully as a story. From candid moments that can sometimes happen in a second, to artful and guided portrait photos. We are not trying to make your wedding look like a Pinterest board, we are trying to tell a story.

ALL WE NEED

IS BIG LOVE

AND GOOD LIGHT

I don't want this to be just a check off of your list - something that you are doing because you feel like you have to or should. Photos are something that will last you a lifetime. They will be passed down for generations. We don't have to summit a mountain top or be in Iceland to create images that make you feel something.
