Lulu and Euwan

Being a photographer in Central Arkansas has always made me feel like there are no shortage of spots to choose from when I am shooting. I get that a lot of photographers will always envy absolutely ridiculous spots that you see in Hawaii, Utah, Oregon, etc., but I have always been one to really focus on the connection of the couple. But then there is this spot. One of my favorites. It is on Mt. Nebo in Dardanelle, Arkansas. Absolutely amazing for me because it is actually just about a 20 minute drive from our home. There are actually two different points of this mountain that people will typically use for photos - sunset point and sunrise point.

My favorite tip for this little mountain? Instead of going over and shooting at sunset point at sunset like you might expect, try shooting on sunRISE point at sunset. Absolutely amazing how the light comes over the mountain during that time of day. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Central Arkansas.
