Olivia and Taj
This shoot is one that I styled for a photographer mentorship. The end of every 6 hour mentorship ends with a styled shoot. It is probably one of my favorite parts of mentorships. Generally we spend a lot of time talking about the workflow and process of doing photo sessions, and this is an opportunity to apply some of those things, or to observe them being applied while asking questions along the way.
I like for the models to be ones that I have never worked with in mentorships to create a pretty authentic environment. One where I am meeting and working with the subject of the shoot for the first time. Olivia and Taj were a dream to work with, and I am really hoping to have them in front of my lens again another day.
By the time we got to spot #2 by a creek, some clouds had moved in and made it a lot darker earlier than we expected. So we had to really push our cameras to their limits because by the time we left it was pretty much just dark outside. Some of my favorite edits and shots from this shoot!
