Susan’s Arkansas Bridals

Should you get bridals done? It’s a question that I guess I end up getting from half of my brides. There are some advantages to having them done, but I also don’t think it is necessary for every bride either. I have plenty of brides that pass on them because they know they will have some done on the wedding day, and that is totally fine.

They do give you an opportunity for a full “dress” rehearsal. Think of it as a hair and makeup trial with the advantage of seeing it all together. It also gives you a chance to see other really important elements of the wedding day, like the bouquet and the veil.

The other advantage of bridals is just the ability to get creative with them. Maybe the idea of having your portraits done outside of your wedding venue sounds amazing. Maybe you want to get creative and utilize a studio space to have them done, which we have loved to do with some of our bridal sessions.

And this styled bridal session is a good example of where that creativity can sometimes lead us - getting shots in the studio and in a nearby field.
